A Letter from the Flower Field

A friend who is not on social media recently commented that I have been off the radar, so I thought a little update would be nice. I have been on Martha’s Vineyard, a beautiful island in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, since the end of April. Here I am learning about regenerative and organic farming, and also spending quality time with my mother, whom I had not seen in a long time.

I have grown so much respect for the work and dedication of farmers. It is an intense and physically demanding profession. Being in such close daily contact with the Earth has been a beautiful experience, helping me to ground in my body in a new way.

It has been amazing to travel after the world has shut down for a long time, longer than anyone expected. Next month I am off to Mexico and Europe before heading back to Asia, in what is turning out – unexpectedly – to be a world tour.
